* g; S: e' c& {0 _全知麦彭仁波切的大弟子,直品单比尼玛是青海班玛县人。他在8岁时就能将《入行论》讲

* O) x+ o5 X2 w; x1 y得十分精彩。他时常手拿与身体高矮不相上下的书夹(藏地以竹、木所制,用于搁放经书之
1 s7 S8 T" a3 R6 Q
* `8 p$ M( J9 ?夹板,长的约2市尺),为别人传讲。令多年闻思之人也咂咂称奇。

, G+ Q% |4 w9 Q" @% l' [. D5 \Jikme Tenpe Nyima of Pema, Qinghai, was the chief disciple of the great Ju Mipham Rinpoche.

When he was barely 8 years old, he was able to give excellent teachings on A Guide to the
' d0 I0 ?" C  z% R3 ?" f6 K5 x8 Q- b
Bodhisattva Way of Life. On such occasions he usually held a text holder (the Tibetan traditional
+ z% L2 W: o$ S5 p5 u" D4 S; I7 {/ I
text holders are made of silk brocade reinforced with bamboo, about 2-chi long) of almost the
6 {( ~0 p( {1 ~7 `) x! c
/ K% j' }. X0 y$ \4 |same length as his height, a sight that made people, even those with years of Dharma practice,2 f. h2 g. ^& R/ D# ]0 J# p
, x+ S5 W0 v( f$ J/ V$ y7 L' [; O
marvel and lavish him with praise.
! W- @: {+ U# E: [) M7 I# b. m+ |: ^4 v5 {- p" m/ N  p
华智仁波切对此感慨说:“多竹仁波切(直品单比尼玛的别名)8岁为人宣讲佛法,看来宁玛* ?0 H% g2 x* L) g& W. r
1 o7 r# C! U5 Q9 l1 v
巴的教法正值辉煌时期,前途无量啊!

$ ]2 y6 L' i/ q; g3 P/ G& S
5 y( J- G# h( P' H: ZTo this, Patrul Rinpoche was pleased to comment: “Now that Dodrup Rinpoche (another name of/ _8 N" `6 \: w

8 @, k' G5 p5 [: t3 `  sJikme Tenpe Nyima) teaches the Dharma at the age of 8, it shows that the Nyingma tradition is
. o+ s- p( R4 u, {: J- H) |% @' {  H0 z( W) }  L# }2 N; r
rising high and the future is great!”

) m$ X( C! F% Z' k直品单比尼玛为后人留下了大量诗歌,以及大圆满、大幻化网等方面有如如意宝般的典籍5 P3 f+ {9 ?6 D5 c: V) D0 E2 h  r

0 P: j: d' x' o0 l宝库。今天我从中采撷一束,与大家共勉:“平时喜欢观察的寻伺者,想了达自然本智有8 H$ N% F# S" `3 g, L. ?

9 P/ y+ t8 z* V一定障碍。因此应当常时恭敬祈祷上师,精进修持,才能证悟心的本面。自己通达之后,4 h: L8 P( t8 g
' @1 J9 C) C) p( b6 A: i
不离观心性的同时,翻阅《七宝藏》等经论,自己的觉相、妙观察智会越发增上,必将有) e" m; e+ P/ f5 s! p
3 s0 s  k5 i9 ~5 J
很大收获。

- S; z2 {; F' P1 B$ @Jikme Tenpe Nyima left future generations many poems and jewel-like treatises on the Great( d: z. Z' \- t6 P6 b8 V: ^) ~
  I% T. h6 e$ ~4 q' j
Perfection and the Great Illusory Net. Here are some selections as food for thought: “The/ {; S# S  @3 t& r+ j1 m$ N2 a' D

6 _1 q, \6 r! J& l) w1 P0 I. Lprofound truth of primordial wisdom is difficult to grasp by people who are inclined to analysis
2 f* E8 N: A5 ?: e: s
: G7 @" H+ k. oand logic. It is only through constant praying to the lama with devotion and faith, coupled with" f" T5 A1 l# ~* t

# Z  S1 ~7 A3 F% G8 X- q" n; adiligent practice that we come to see the true face of the mind. As we get better, we can
' |+ F" I; _* L; x2 K' D- @2 U
! q: Q7 g2 o$ Vmaintain this recognition of the mind even as we are reading scriptures such as the Seven& u: F( r$ \- g9 b3 R" O
! }( }; P7 K& \% Q1 a
Treasures. Our insight and discriminating awareness will gradually increase, bringing us great
# N" E6 k3 O1 @+ T3 C. i
3 w! R* I6 n9 S9 g/ q. F9 Ibenefit.”

因此,如果能够一边观心性一边看书,或一边念咒一边看书都非常殊胜。江直仁波切说1 Q1 @- Z2 X! q! c0 k; P% s

1 M" f9 r" A% O$ ~: ^:“边看书边念咒有很大功德。初学者不能同时施行,到一定境界后就可以了。”
/ f) K! k% b+ }* q
* b# {1 C- _* d* C, }9 v9 A
Therefore combining the task of reading text with the practice of seeing the mind’s nature or
: `2 L4 m1 c  c8 J# k, v- N* V; w! o0 ^% F/ Q; K: Q
with the recitation of mantras is most wonderful. Gyangze Rinpoche says: “To recite a mantra
* }! ]! _! T/ N4 U* D/ H) E0 i
, o$ X% J4 _8 r/ `9 D% L6 P* A& P5 U& kand to read scripture at the same time is very meritorious. This multitasking could be difficult for- Z! _" J+ ~% x! w) S
0 T7 y: P3 \8 N
a beginner, but the time will come when he reaches a certain level of practice.”2 i% o8 a& V+ Y

Many khenpos at our academy are adept at this practice; this is how they manage to accumulate

astonishing numbers of mantra recitations over the years.

然而有的人却自视高明,既不看书,也不念咒,将宝贵的岁月白白荒废,真是枉为修行人
& i  [! h; A) q- e' \$ o. V. H$ M3 z8 N' I) D$ |' }# l
了!

, n4 j1 Z- `5 H/ c; N4 I+ G! D8 N0 _5 k4 l& K* ~# O; f: `
Nonetheless, there are people with high opinions of themselves who neither bother to read% q. B# z! h" V8 G8 B& w5 X  }

7 I) X) Q6 W; e7 d6 b9 _+ b! R' ebooks nor recite mantras. They waste their precious lives meaninglessly and do not deserve the5 A5 i# q+ Z: {3 r3 |/ ~* A2 F
* x' i4 o3 o0 P: J8 z
name of practitioners!. t- H# }/ ]: N, _% R
